New in 2006, the 40 Under Forty Awards were launched as part of the Emerging Leaders Conference.

The Northern Ontario Medical Journal was launched at the Inaugural MEDNorth Conference and Tradeshow on April 20, 2007. The journal is a natural extension of the evolving healthcare community in Northern Ontario and focuses on the people, places, institutions and research in the North.
